Hi, hola!
Hi, I’m Berta — a trauma-informed yoga facilitator and nurse specialised in oncology. I support people navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, and the challenges that come with trauma and illness. My work blends modern neuroscience, evidence-based mind-body practices, and a deep respect for human complexity.
What I do
I work with individuals navigating emotional and physical challenges—stress, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and serious health conditions like cancer. I support people in regulating their nervous system, cultivating emotional resilience, and reconnecting with their body in a safe and grounded way.My approach integrates trauma-informed yoga, breathwork, body awareness, and mindful movement. Sessions are gentle and therapeutic—adapted to each person and rooted in respect, curiosity, and compassion. This work is also deeply beneficial for athletes and high performers. Through nervous system regulation, yoga can enhance focus, build emotional resilience, and expand the window of tolerance to stress. On a physical level, it improves mobility, breath capacity, recovery, and injury prevention—supporting a more sustainable, embodied performance.
HEALING EXPERIENCES
These retreats are spaces to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and share with others. Through yoga, breathwork, time in nature, and creative activities, we offer a warm, down-to-earth experience—open to everyone, no matter your level.

The Science
My work is rooted in evidence-based approaches. The mind–body connection is supported by current neuroscience and trauma research.I draw inspiration from the work of leading experts such as Dr. Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, Stephen Porges (Polyvagal Theory), and Mario Salvador, alongside training with Maria Macaya and Rädika Foundation.I’m committed to integrating science and embodied practices to create safe and effective spaces for healing.Read: The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic CultureRead: The Impact of Yoga on Athletes' Mental Well-Being: An Experimental Study
